The Texecom GDE‑0001 Ricochet Capture 360‑CD‑W Wireless Dual‑Tech Ceiling‑Mount PIR is a premium 360° motion detector engineered for high‑risk indoor environments where maximum stability and advanced false‑alarm immunity are essential. Combining passive infrared (PIR) detection with microwave technology, this dual‑tech sensor provides highly accurate intrusion verification across a complete 360‑degree field of view.
Designed for central ceiling installation, the 360‑CD‑W eliminates blind spots and delivers uniform detection throughout the entire room. Its dual‑tech architecture ensures that both PIR and microwave systems must confirm movement before triggering an alarm, significantly reducing nuisance activations caused by temperature changes, air movement, or electrical interference. Advanced digital signal processing further enhances reliability, making it ideal for commercial premises, open‑plan areas, offices, and domestic properties requiring robust protection.
The clean white low‑profile housing blends seamlessly into modern ceilings, offering a discreet and professional finish suitable for both new installations and upgrades. As a wireless device, the 360‑CD‑W enables fast, tidy installation with no cabling required — perfect for retrofit projects or locations where wiring is impractical.
Powered by Texecom’s Ricochet mesh networking, each wireless device acts as a repeater, strengthening communication across the entire system. This ensures extended coverage, improved signal resilience, and dependable performance even in larger or complex buildings. Secure encrypted signalling provides additional protection against interference and tampering.
Fully compatible with Texecom Premier Elite control panels, the GDE‑0001 integrates effortlessly into professional wireless or hybrid alarm systems. It offers installers a dependable, stylish, and highly accurate dual‑tech ceiling‑mount PIR detector that delivers full‑room coverage and long‑term reliability.
