The Ruijie MINI‑GBIC‑LH40‑SM1310 is a high‑performance 1000BASE‑LH long‑reach single‑mode fibre SFP transceiver engineered for stable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity across extended‑distance optical links. Built to the SFP (Mini‑GBIC) MSA form factor, it offers a cost‑effective, energy‑efficient and standards‑compliant solution for connecting switches, routers, servers and aggregation devices in campus networks, metro links and enterprise backbones.
Delivering 1.063–1.25 Gbps full‑duplex throughput, the MINI‑GBIC‑LH40‑SM1310 operates at a 1310 nm wavelength using a DFB laser transmitter and PIN receiver, ensuring stable optical performance with low power consumption. It supports link distances of up to 40 km over single‑mode fibre (SMF) using a duplex LC (UPC) connector, fully aligned with IEEE 1000BASE‑LH optical specifications.
The module conforms to key industry standards including IEEE 802.3z, SFP MSA, SFF‑8472, SFF‑8431, SFF‑8432, and RoHS, ensuring broad compatibility with Ruijie switches and other SFP‑enabled equipment. It also supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM), providing real‑time visibility into optical power, temperature, voltage and other critical parameters for proactive network maintenance.
Engineered for dependable operation, the MINI‑GBIC‑LH40‑SM1310 is hot‑pluggable, allowing installation or replacement without interrupting network services. It operates within a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, making it suitable for wiring closets, campus distribution points and long‑reach fibre cabinets. Power consumption remains low at ≤ 1.5 W, supporting high‑density deployments.
Optical performance is robust, with typical transmit power ranging from –1 dBm to +3 dBm, an extinction ratio of ≥ 9 dB, and receiver sensitivity down to –22 dBm, ensuring stable operation across varying fibre conditions and long‑distance attenuation scenarios. These values align with industry‑standard 40 km 1310 nm optics.
Safety and compliance are ensured through Class 1 laser certification and RoHS adherence, guaranteeing safe operation and environmentally responsible manufacturing. With a BER of 1.0E‑12, the transceiver delivers highly reliable performance suitable for mission‑critical enterprise, metro and backbone networks.
Compact, efficient and fully standards‑compliant, the MINI‑GBIC‑LH40‑SM1310 is ideal for long‑range fibre uplinks in campus networks, metro aggregation, backbone links, surveillance backhaul and extended‑distance enterprise switching environments. It provides a dependable, plug‑and‑play solution for expanding Gigabit optical connectivity while maintaining excellent performance and long‑term reliability.
