RUIJIE RG-AIRMETRO460G - 15KM PTP/PTMP CPE

The Ruijie Reyee RG‑AirMetro460G is a high‑performance outdoor wireless base station designed for long‑range point‑to‑multipoint (PTMP) networks, WISP deployments, industrial sites, rural broadband, and large‑scale CCTV environments. Engineered for stability, scalability, and real‑time data delivery, it provides reliable 5 GHz wireless connectivity with Gigabit backhaul, strong directional performance, and advanced cloud‑based optimisation tools. When paired with Ruijie AirMetro CPE units and sector antennas, the RG‑AirMetro460G delivers exceptional coverage and throughput for demanding outdoor applications.

Powered by 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, the RG‑AirMetro460G features a 2×2 MIMO radio with a maximum wireless data rate of 867 Mbps, ensuring smooth transmission for high‑resolution IP cameras and bandwidth‑intensive applications. Its high‑gain integrated antenna provides strong signal focus and long‑range reliability, enabling stable connectivity across distances up to 10 km when used with compatible Ruijie sector antennas such as the RG‑ANT20S‑90, RG‑ANT16S‑120, or RG‑ANT13‑360. This makes it ideal for rural broadband, industrial parks, campuses, farms, and city‑wide surveillance networks.

The RG‑AirMetro460G is designed for effortless deployment and large‑scale expansion. It supports up to 32 PTMP links per base station, allowing WISP operators and CCTV integrators to build wide‑area networks with multiple CPE devices connected simultaneously. Advanced wireless optimisation features — including automatic channel selection, interference mitigation, and intelligent beam coverage — ensure stable performance even in congested RF environments.

A major advantage of the RG‑AirMetro460G is its seamless integration with Ruijie Cloud, providing powerful remote management capabilities. Installers and administrators gain access to AI‑driven tools such as heatmaps, spectrum analysis, alignment assistance, link quality monitoring, and automatic optimisation recommendations. This dramatically reduces on‑site maintenance and simplifies long‑distance wireless deployments.

Built for harsh outdoor environments, the RG‑AirMetro460G features an IP65 weatherproof enclosure, protecting against dust, rain, and extreme weather conditions. It operates reliably between –40°C and +60°C, supports humidity levels from 5% to 95%, and withstands strong winds, making it suitable for exposed installations in rural, industrial, and urban environments. Surge protection ensures resilience against electrical spikes and unstable power conditions, while natural cooling provides silent, reliable operation.

The device supports 24 V passive PoE input, enabling flexible installation on poles, towers, and rooftops. It includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for high‑speed backhaul, along with LED indicators for system status and signal strength to simplify alignment and troubleshooting. With an MTBF of 400,000 hours, the RG‑AirMetro460G is engineered for long‑term reliability in mission‑critical outdoor deployments.

The Ruijie Reyee RG‑AirMetro460G is a powerful, long‑range, cloud‑managed outdoor base station designed to deliver stable, high‑capacity wireless performance for PTMP networks. It is an excellent choice for WISP operators, CCTV integrators, and organisations requiring reliable 5 GHz connectivity, strong environmental durability, and seamless integration with Ruijie AirMetro wireless bridges and sector antennas.
