RUIJIE XG-SFP-AOC3M - 10G DAC

The Ruijie XG‑SFP‑AOC3M is a high‑performance 10G SFP+ Active Optical Cable (AOC) engineered for short‑distance, high‑bandwidth interconnects in modern data centres, enterprise networks and campus environments. With integrated SFP+ optical modules at both ends and a lightweight multimode fibre cable, it provides a streamlined, cost‑effective and energy‑efficient alternative to traditional transceivers and patch cords.

Designed for 10‑Gigabit Ethernet, the XG‑SFP‑AOC3M supports data rates from 1.0625 Gbps to 10.52 Gbps, enabling compatibility with 10G Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and multiple Fibre Channel standards including 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G and 10G FC. Operating at 850 nm with a VCSEL laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver, it delivers stable optical performance with exceptionally low power consumption — just 1 W maximum, ideal for high‑density racks where thermal efficiency is critical.

Optimised for short‑range connectivity, the XG‑SFP‑AOC3M provides a 3‑metre point‑to‑point link using OM2 multimode fibre, making it perfect for top‑of‑rack, adjacent‑rack, and within‑row connections. Its slim, lightweight construction improves airflow, reduces cable congestion and simplifies cable management compared to copper DACs, supporting efficient cooling in high‑density environments.

The cable is fully hot‑swappable, enabling quick installation or replacement without service interruption. It supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real‑time monitoring of temperature, voltage and optical parameters, enhancing network visibility and simplifying troubleshooting. Engineered for reliability, it operates within a 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature range and offers an impressive MTBF of 1,000,000 hours, ensuring long‑term stability in mission‑critical deployments.

Compliant with SFP+ MSA, SFF‑8431, CE, and RoHS, the XG‑SFP‑AOC3M guarantees broad compatibility with Ruijie switches and other SFP+‑enabled devices. Its integrated optical modules eliminate the need for separate transceivers, providing a plug‑and‑play solution that reduces cost, simplifies deployment and ensures consistent performance across the entire link.

Compact, efficient and purpose‑built for short‑range 10G connectivity, the XG‑SFP‑AOC3M is ideal for data‑centre racks, campus distribution layers, server‑to‑switch links and any environment requiring reliable, low‑power, high‑bandwidth optical interconnects. It delivers dependable, low‑latency performance with excellent signal integrity and long‑term durability.
